benskoot - 30/5/2013 8:55 PM All back together, MOT tomorrow! Fixed the issue with the turbo, the boost source pipe to solenoid was slightly kinked straightened it out now get full boost and nice dump valve sound. Car still idles a little funny but drives ok. Looking good, what's the space like between rad and turbo? Don't look like you've cut much out of front bumper either, got any close ups.....

Regular Posts: 271 Location: Barnsley | I cut about 40-45 mm out of the bumper for the cinq rad to fit. Space between the turbo and f rad is about 15-20mm I think, it's when I put the fan in it gets tight at around 10mm gap. I'll get some photos when I get chance.

Regular Posts: 271 Location: Barnsley | Its been a while since i last posted! The cars been off road since November in that time i stripped it all out to look for rust/rot and also convert the rears to coilovers. Places had been repaired before but have began to rust again. Where i have cut the section out for the turrets had rotten through any way. Fuel tank removed a bit of suface rust under there. All nice and solid again! Now for the coilover conversion. I decided to drill into the raidus arm to fix a bracket to prevent the chances of the bolt snapping. Needs trialling on the car so i can position the angle and weld in the right place. Also began welding new inner/outer arches. More to come soon!

Regular Posts: 271 Location: Barnsley | Front (Custom) ok, the springs would be E6625 + helpers x 2" thats no problem the dampers, we can make them to std length, no problem, but as said we are not able to reproduce the bottom mount, so we would need a set of donor std shocks to use the mounts from, you would then have a damper with o/e lengths and fitment, with adjustable spring seat to take a 2.25" springs and have adjustable damping rate the cost each inc spring/helper would be £150 + vat delivery time 4-5 weeks from receiving donor units Rears (Off the shelf) AVO: APF 160/105 Stem Top, 12mm Sleeves, my turrets are 9.5" tall from the boot floor, if you are using Ralphs type turrets which are 11.5" tall, then AVO: APF 180/115 stem Top, 12mm sleeves. The bottom of the coilover has a 12mm sleeved bush that I have bolted through the centre of the rear hub. The rear springs I have are 2.25" 8"x 180 lb/in, but this will depend on car weight
