Got lower MGF ball joints fitted and boot hinge welded. A new water pipe that should be a better fit than my random one from a SPI. Also MPI calipers so only got to get the discs redrilled and they can be fitted. And finally, picking up fuel tank at PoL and got my red bumpers today

Exactly the same as the minilites mate. Did look at wider wheels but just chose to go with the easy option plus got these for £200

i used to trim a couple of mm off the outer edge of the calipers so that gta wheels clear there is plenty of meat on the outer edge

I used a metro one for now but it does hit the ecu as I've now put a MPI bracket on. It's okay after about half way but I think the best one is a boot strut off a rover 800 or 820 I believe

I just made the hole slightly bigger for now as I couldn't get to pillar drill at the time and need the brakes on then! They don't have any play in them at all. They will begetting done properly but I'm going to be getting better discs next few weeks maybe

Nothing's really change with this in the past few months.
Tacked a diagonal bar in and will be getting more bars to go in, looking at getting the cross in as well as a diagonal behind the drivers seat to just behind the passanger.
I've now decided that this will be my track/road car and more of a toy than anything else

Did you make that alloy top rad pipe up? Looks a good effort if you did and will out last the car unlike the standard steel ones!!

Nice build dairy!

So this one has come to a end now.
Past couple of months tried to fix the gta up but unfortunatly I won't have the time nor money to repair it. Rust has got to much, front and rear suspension set up needs replacing and paint work is terrible.

There is a big plus side.
I will be stripping the car down and keeping everything then next week I pick up another shell to rebuild back up ready for PoL. I'll start a new journal for the rebuild.
