Dear all,
I need to replace my aerial cable from the back of my hifi to the base of the roof mount. The cable is broke as there is no conductivity,
What is the best way to get out the old cable and install the new?

is it a case of taping a wire to the aerial plug then seeing if it will pull through? Or will I have take out the glove box, etc.

regards
Shaun

Doubt it will just pull through (use it as a draw wire) it'll be taped up with the other wires i'd imagine.

From memory that wire goes from the aerial mount, across the roof, down the N/S A pillar, across the bulkhead under the dash & into the H/U.

I don't doubt it will be a full dashboard out job & maybe the front bit of roof lining as well (or cut through it)

Dump the front one and replace with a Blaupunkt DAB at the rear, invest in a DAB unit. Not too bad taking out the head and side cloth and only a bit fiddly thru the pillars
