Veteran Posts: 310 Location: nr Evesham Worcs | Like litterally you cant see them?, or the pics don't work for you as in you don't like? Tbf i am not fussed if people don't like it, as i am just playing with it and i would prefer feed back what ever. The idea is that the car is going to be pretty well an all out track toy, so i am not hugely fussed what it looks like, the aim is for it to have some function. (it looks pretty sketchy anyway as it is just out of the mold and not properly fitted and not painted.....) Have you got any pics of your redesign?

Veteran Posts: 310 Location: nr Evesham Worcs | Cheers. I wasn't really going for pretty or sleeper. The car is about as subtle as a brick in the face as a whole, eg its wide arched at the back and every removable panel is either grp or carbon. There is a little bit of thinking that has gone into the bumper, but its going to be tested against a standard one when ive painted it and got it on track to see if it gives any improvement, it may not but hey ho if you dont try different stuff you wont know.

Metro Mad Posts: 7653 Location: Tamworth, Staffs | Think someone has been watching too much touring cars Not bad, something different good effort. I think the side cut outs are bit too much, a little shallower and moved down more about the middle and tapering away upwards may work better.

Veteran Posts: 310 Location: nr Evesham Worcs | Yea i had thought about that as a possible for the mk2. But i can't make the cutouts in the sides any longer in a downward direction as the shape of the front slam panel is the limiting factor with that, which is a shame. But tapering the bottom is do able and could be the way forward. Yep touring car inspiration from a few years back, before they made the areo rules more difficult for the teams . But for now i think i am going to just get the whole car painted and back together and be able to do some testing and have some fun, plus i think it will look better when its painted and sitting at proper ride hight.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 539 Location: Swindon, Wilts | Splitter will be changed for a vaux vectra one I think, trying to make it abit more aero dynamic. Next plan for mine is a rear diffuser and proper front splitter. Still cant see the pics of the original bumper thread .

Veteran Posts: 310 Location: nr Evesham Worcs | Hmmm i dont know how i can get the pics to come up for you.....any suggestions?!?! yea that all sounds pretty good Ive got a diffuser on mine although again its a proto part as i have plans to change it as it needs more ribs and i plan on having the exaust exit it. Its made out of ali to match the full flat under tray i am adding.

Veteran Posts: 310 Location: nr Evesham Worcs | No that is a talon bonnet, although i couldnt tell you if Dudley (MD) is still prepared to knock any out, as when i worked for them the mold was put into storage somewhere due to us concentrating on the cobra and strato's builds. I would make a mold off mine if enough people wanted them and Dudley didn't mind, although i would imagine he would, due to it being his design.
