Hey guys just wondered if anyone has any suggestions for bike racks on my 94 Metro?

I guess there is the option of getting a towbar fitted then get a bike rack to fit onto that, or their some other methods people have found that are cheap?

Thanks

Have a look at my avator

Roof bars and a cycle carrier. Although I took them off months ago, but re-fitting this week to get back into biking. Done 18 miles in the beacons yesterday and it killed me

Hm I've always wondered if those metal bars along the length of the roof were really strong enough for roof bars, but I suppose that what they're their for. How sturdy have you found putting your bike on there is?

The bars themselves were sturdy, but i was using a cheap argos rack to hold the bike, which wasnt the best. Nothing to worry about just abit of wobble giving the car a blast.
I'll be fitting a thule one next which is put together alot better than ones from argos.
Guess its more to do with the weight of the bike on how sturdy it'll be. If its a halfords appolo it'll probably weigh more than the car, but a lightweight bike will be sorted

I used to stick one that strapped on to the tailgate all the time. As long as everything was on there tightly enough there wasn't a problem.
