Hi all you Metrosexual's I am struggling to wire up my 1800 non VVC mgf loom to my 1.1 spi rover 100 I have the 5as and blips and ecu from original fitted. I have loads of wires from the EHC 1 and 2 ?. Any of you loom wizards fancy a trip to Oxford to help me out ? Cheers Simon

All you need is a Rover 100 mpi engine loom, and keep the original cooling fan set up, job done...........

You can do but thats a conversion where as the R100 MPi loom is a direct plug and play fitment.

You do not need to use the MGF loom whatsoever............the easiest and most painless way is as I have said as the plugs fit the same on a 1.1 mpi R100 engine to the 1.8 MGF one you have. It's plug and play essentially!

I think finding Metros/100's being broken it starting to become a problem. I know id need to travel probably 15miles these days to even come across good old fashioned scrapyard!

You will be out of pocket at least £20-30 depending on on who would convert it for you. R100 mpi engine looms are 10 a penny on here....

hello sorry to bring this old thread back to life i have 1.1 spi and converting to vvc engine, i also have the 5as, key fob/vvc ecu and wiring for it. are you saying that the mpi loom is different please pm me or let me know asap.thanks
