Hello all,

i have myself a rover 100 kingisher blue kensington aka susan boyle, it was given to me when i was 16 for my first car, was well happy as i wanted to get a metro as there easily modded,

its had a few different engines in there inc 1.4 16v spi , 1.8 solid cam, 1.8 with solid cammed vvc head, and 1.8 turbo with the solid cammed vvc head on.

but this is how she was when i got her.

then changed the wheels to 6 spokes gta wheels

then changed to body coloured bumpers with a megane splitter

then changed to white mpi's

then too mgf steelies first with black

then white with new set of toyo t1r

thats the last of the wheel whoring for the moment,

few pics of the 1.8 turbo in there, not the neatest fit but went like stink

got a 2 1/2" exhaust custom made for it

now on r100_vvc car

wanted more power so i took the engine out to sell and buy forged parts to build up a new engine

selling both these sets now, as i no longer require them

whilst the engine was out i decided to give the metro abit of tlc so rolled her over bit of paint and changed the front panel as i crashed few years back, also in progress of changing the car loom to mpi with all the goodies on it =D

this is how the old panel looked, note the rover 200 wheel trims for the ultimate sleeper look =D

then after sean - R100_vvc worked his magic on the welding section and painting it looks like this

next weekend should be a very very good weekend for me as i will be collecting another engine for her

to be continued........

Good work, exhaust looks a nice piece of work!

Are you welding in shock mounts while you're at it?

Daz i will knock some shock mounts up at work unless you want Ralph mounts, when you fit stiffer shocks it will probably start to bend the inner wing. Standard factory shocks are soft which is why they have been fine so far

Glad you finally went public with it

Best home in the world for the engine have booked clutch into Kestrel on Thursday afternoon so will have some feedback then

You best get this to over 300bhp, and be the worlds most powerful road legal Rover 100 / possibly k series engine, its your destiny

FYI i split my wings without the shock mounts, so they are needed

Dont forget to put a restictor in the oil feed to the turbo whilst its out

feels like theres a film of oil on the flywheel, could be the loose oil that was in your gearbox, but we will find out soon
