Hopefully this link will work,

Two Metros - Green one is the Rally Tro we take on European
Tours such as The Crumball 2012 and this year The Italian Job 2013.

- White one is the VVC bought from James160vvc 2 years ago,
finally got her stripped, cage in and all the body work sprayed
filled and ready for Snetty this summer!

I've edited those links so the pictures show for you. You need to use the link which has [ img ] in for next time

Love the green one, are those Triumph fit wheels or Mini?

The white one is a GTa isn't it?

Cheers Pandy, will do for new time. Thanks.

The Green one has Mini wheels on, its taken it's time but have finally got her running on 13 x 7 minilites and 175 x 50 x 13 tyres

The white one is a GTa, yes. Very much looking forward to getting her onto a track it's been two years since buying her lol!

Damn, that offset is mental

Fair play, I'm guessing that was quite a lot of work.

It was a bit of work but a lot of info was given from a friend of mine Connor, not too sure he is on here.

He made me aware of how good the Metro looks on minilites with his Mk3, so i decided to do it to the my mk4.

The minilites will be going on the white one for sure as the handling is incredibly fun

that offset will badly affect the handling mate . tell me what you think when you have tryed them on your vvc , my guess is you will have insane tourque steer problems .

The handling is superb, what are you on about....,However this is on the 1.1 and not vvc so will have to let you know. Its taken me long enough
to complete on the green one let alone doing it to the white one. Ill be sure to let everyone know

dont get me wrong the car looks sexy with the superlights on, but if you put some mpi alloys on with the same tyres you yould be amased at the difference mate . i ran 5mm spacers on a 1.8 solidcam r100 and it was all over the place . it gives you more tourque steer the further you put the tyre contact patch away from the kingpin pivot because of the increase in leverage

Cheers, it took some taking, the rear has been smoothed and altered also, god forbid if I was to spin off whilst tracking her.
I think id cry the amount of hours that has been spent on getting those bumpers flush

OMG I hadn't noticed the bumper inserts were flushed as well - I only noticed the number plate gap!

Awesome work buddy!

Can you not make a cast of the bumpers to make a mould from to make replacements? or get some mould done?

I'm almost certain you could sell fully smoothed bupers easily!

Good to see another Metro sporting Superlites. The Red one you shared is a photo I made of mine a couple of years back... everything is sitting in the garage waiting to hit the road again, not that low though

Your photo gave me the 'omph' to get it moving and also seeing a mates mk3 metro with minilites and the way it handles convinced me to get
it going. It turns some heads for sure, just wish it had the vvc lump in it

I'm glad she inspired. Connors Metro is an awesome little car for sure, I'm glad to see somebody actually did it rather than the usual stuff that everybody does to Metros.

Loving it steve can't wait for our two to park up at PoL ??just so people know I done this 3years ago and been running it ever since and so glad someone else has done it because the handling is insane and was well worth the hassle as steve will agree with me! The stance is amazing and very different
