If yours is 114d it a TUD engine out a 106 pug so I think you could drop 1.9 I think it xud out a 306 they a quick Diesel engine and already turbo. Just 1 mount to make for the 306-106 change so should be pretty similar as metro d shares 106 engine and there for mount's but whirring and ecu is what stopped me having a go I thought about super charger for a while but sold metro d an just got me old mg1300 I'm going to turbo that

i didnt till i got given it for free then i thought what could i do with it and made a plan im going to restore it drive it bit then sell it and get a metro gti when i can get insured on it as ive always wanted a metro gti but i now got my snail i know you can make a replica but its not the same as the actul thing

really want my metro back as miss it and this thing is so boring to drive drove it on private property as no mot or tax and it started up for the first time in 7 years of it being off the road im going to look for a Austin metro tho as like classic cars
