metro hate syndrome

its spreading rapidly especially around my local corsa owners does anyone have a solution or do i have to keep laughing at them???????????

i get all kind of hate including people nickiking my number plates an winscreen wipers and smashed my rear light last week i also get everyone laughing at me and notes left on my car they are all t*ssers im so angry

Tis fine down my way. Turned up at college today in my sister's 1.1, and people thought it was cute! And my friends can't say anything about them. Me and Jim own them, and two of our friends have owned them in the past. So it's all good.

Yup I still get jibes bout the Metro always have done but at least my car is actually MINE and its got better spec than a lot of other 1.1's out there - there are worse things I cud be in like one of those new Peugots yeeeukk

I still got it even with my 1.8s although they no longer EVER tried it on at the lights once one tried to undertake me on raynesway( local people will know where this is) I left it in 5th...

You will always get laughed at by them but remember this.. when I go to other meets such as the ones with the alfas, beemers, jap cars...every single hot hatch with perhaps the exception of golf gti ( mk1 and 2) get taken the piss out of.

And to be fair..when we get together as a collective group..do we not laugh and take the piss out of corsas/novas etc..( I have had a nova ..and I actually thought it drove similar to my 1.4 metros btw.. )

ive never really had a problem with this, even when i had my 1st gta when i was 17, but i could always out drive my mates in faster cars, in fact it had a fair bit of respect, i get a bit of jip when i have a standard tro like a sli or something, but thats cus they think its strange i choose to drive one!
they have all accepted the fact im metro mad, and tbh they all fight are corner these days after ive shown them the way

when i was much younger i had a tro that used to get trashed in the lane behind my house, at the time my mates were all doing minis but to me the metro was a improved mini, but then we were about 14!!
makes me angry when i hear stories of ppls cars gettin trashed for no reason other then the make of car it is, and that your dont conform with the must have corsa or fiesta group, if they ever grow up then they will look back and think "what a t#at i was" or someone who doesnt like there car will hopefully give them a taste of there own medicine.
there im finished, dont care if it makes sence, but it kept me out of trouble for the 5 mins it took to type it, so good pie, dont hate other drivers for the cars they drive as karma kills metros

(i dont think flaming the zed counts tho, that just makes me laugh)

should i be annoyed that i was pulling into guildford cruise last nite and whilst queing a spotty little c*nt opened the window of the saxo (that he was the passenger in!) and looked full length of the wagon and said openly "you've gotta be joking" ?????????????????
to which i replied "do what" then they moved forward.my point being how can someone say that when they werent even in theyre own car w**kers!!!!!!!!!!!
im not embarrassed to admit yes i own a metro but it offends me to laugh at my pride and joy just coz i dont have shares in f**ing halfords!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
