Is there a "How to" thread on here that explains in detail the steps needed to do an exhaust-with cat-on a vvc because I'll be damned if I can find one.

I think best bet would be to weld in universal 400cpi cat

I used a couple of 2.25" tubes and flanges on my zr160 cat. Make it same length as the metro cat with flanges in the same place and Itl fit right up. Had to rotate the cat slightly so it doesn't hit arb / tunnel or Gear linkage if using pg1. No height issues either.

I think best bet would be to weld in universal 400cpi cat, or weld flanges an make another type of decat pipe after mot?

Does the zr160 cat reduce ground clearance?

Depends how you do it. If you just bang the cat in straight with the pipes unaltered it hangs low and catches the front arb.

I've put mine 2" furthur back and the cats angled so I could get it higher in exhaust tunnel clearing the Gear linkage and arb. No clearence issues that way.

Il take a couple of pics how it sits tomorrow and get them up.
