Has a tomcat turbo engine been fitted into a metro before? Can it be done or has any1 tried and failed? my dads thinking of trying it as he measured it up and it looks like it might fit!

Its too heavy, best to go with a 1.8VVC

too much front end weight yeh? good point it will probably push on F*ck loads, its just that we have aquired an engine so thought it might be worth a shot!

Location: Guildford		Have a go, I think its been discussed before and the concensus was that it would be too heavy and too much work to be worthwhile over a VVC.

Things noted were the block has a protuberence at the front that would foul the lights and that perhaps its too tall.

Location: Dover, Kent		Have a go. Comparibly, the A-series weighs 160+kg's, all told. Tomcat ain't gonna be any more than that. Lower the car, add big brakes, it'll be a rocket.

Location: Colchester		i have some t series turbo engine blocks and heads do you want me to measure them so you have a better idea and i can weigh the bits as well
