Location: Street Somerset | Hi fellow Metro friends, glad to finally be a member, I have recently rescued a little Rover Metro GTI with a great no plate H15 You! cant wait to get on restoring it.
Im going to go straight in with the 1.8 vvc 160 conversion and purcahsed a complete engine and gearbox tonight, its starting to show sighns of headgasket failure but ill do all of that before I put it in.
The biggest problem im having is sourcing a passanger side floor panel, so any help and advice would be bril, I could also do with some gti rear seats and rear trim panels.
Any recomandations or suggestions on doing this conversion would be helpful too, I still need to get the 160 ecu and immobliser.
Can't wait!
Thanks |
