hi, new here but been about on the facebook pages etc etc for years

Got a 1989 Mk2 poverty-box in Beige which I have kept as original as possible for maximum misery. No fag lighter, no passenger wing mirror, no rear wipe etc etc.
Original 998cc but tuned to factory spec within an inch of its life so goes as well as it should. Sneaks up on big cars and gets hilarious looks for being so standard.

Only thing I had to change was the wheels as the 315's were naff. Closest thing I could get was Mk1 12" steelies which I travelled up and down the country to get (at greater cost than the car)

This thing was a heap when I got it. I rebuilt the engine, welded the floor back in, sorted out the electrics, resprayed bits, sprayed up new wings etc etc. You get the idea...it's a Metro.

Also recently got a Henley Blue carb Mk3. Not sure what my plan is for it yet but I'm sure it will be awesome.

Anyway look forward to being a part of MP. Always seen decent people on the FB page and the knowledge seems great on here do glad to be a part. In turn, hope I can help

All the best!

Welcome to MP and congrats for getting on the forum. Lol

In my opinion FB is rubbish for this sort of thing as everything gets lost.

Start up a journal if you like and search the 13 years of projects, tech and info!

Thanks! I was increasingly of the same opinion so came here for real help and support with hopefully less drama
