Orderd my samcos couple days ago decied to go gloss black! 4 to 6 weeks delivery time tho....also am looking into getting a exhaust orderd in next couple weeks, been told piper do a stainless system so goin to have a look at that even tho I really really want a scorpion exhaust system for it!

bit more work done over last couple days...fitted new alternator, new starter, new crank sensor and got a new lamba to fit too when i get my front pipe sorted,, ordered a braided hose kit today for front calipers and clutch, painted up my calipers took them right back to bare metal and started from scratch!

been busy since last post as you can see by the amount of pics im going to put up..

had my f/pipe welded
finished wrapping the manifold
bought another mgtf rad that fits 100% better than my last one
bought the ecu and fob
fitted new rad
samcos arrived
brake lines arrived
etc etc

oo and got rid of the old engine too

which means i can finish the cooling system..and means all my coolant pipes are new

well i have found a solution to my coolant hose issue... not silicone but am looking into getting one made up...







i couldnt get the white powder off the out side ....sooo i wrapped it in insulation tape

todays progress!

finished installing the wiring hooked up the ecu, fitted the battery tray, flexi clutch hose and fitted the top coolant

























still to do list....

sorh a standerd air box that dont catch the clutch slave
fit front n/s caliper
fit front arb
fuel pump
charge up battery
cut decat pipe down and refit
purchase piper exhaust
cut down front suspension as its a lil high on mgf rods (any help with what to chop off)

Great work mate! Love this car.

Would really make the engine bay a bit nicer is one of the early mems3 ROVER plastic covers instead of a blank rectangle. (Y)

If you have a friend who can weld I'd move that bleed point on the top pipe to the highest position possible, as the new hose your using goes up a little air can be both trapped in the top of the metal top pipe and in the top of that hose, best thing you could do is as your filling it try to push it down to encourage air to go to the bleed point.

Rover 416 airbox is the one that you want to clear the slave cylinder. Its what i used on the Si as the 400 range had a slave cylinder in a similar position.
