I have a 1.4 16v k series engine and gearbox for sale in Horsham, West Sussex.

It is currently in a mini subframe with drive shafts etc.

I bought it for £140 a few years ago with the intention of taking it out of the subframe and into my sons 1.1 mk4 R100, unfortunatly my son didn't take his test and the car rotted away. The previous owner had planned to fit it in his mini but had "grown" up and got a company car and girlfriend.

As far as I know the engine is complete with all ancilories, inlet and ECU but no exhaust manifold or 5AS unit or fob.

I would like to break even but my priority is clear my garage of stuff I no longer need.

I have a hoist so can use this to load or can deliver at cost.

Contact me here or email james @ babelfish . demon . co . uk (remove spaces).

Sorry for slow response, just got back from a couple of weeks driving to Naples and back in the MGF.

I don't have any pics, will see what we can arrange at the weekend.

Yes, the engine is still available.

Not very clear but the gray framework is the lefthand side, I assume the intention was to fit it with a flip front.

Here you can see the otherside of the frame as well.

With it there is definatly an alternator, ECU, header tank and a radiator from a 1.4 8valve.

I don't have the 5AS or fobs but have the equipment to match them if it helps.

I didn't see the wiring loom but IIRC it was in a bin bag but any pre 2001 K series MPi loom should work.

Frustratingly this is still available.

Incase there is any doubt it is a pre 2001 engine so is MEMS 1.9. If this isn't what you are after don't waste your time or mine.
