the g plate will be carb'd. basically the same as an spi but you'll need to get an injection fuel tank in with the mpi fuel pump, the fuel rail, (injection part) open filter or square box. return fuel pipe, not sure what else but wiring is going to be a pain, oh yeah you also need the 4 way flywheel, not sure, someone e.g. adriansi will have more to say as he's done it. marc

Yeh as Mark says above, i would imagine you have a Carb'd 1.4 at that era. You will need the an injection fueltank and ideally an mpi pump. This will then require a bit of wiring (probably eaiser to get hold of an injection interior loom) and then you need the MPi engine loom, flywheel (4 Pole), Inlet, ecu etc.

If you are interested in doing the conversion PM me as my converted 1.48v MPi engineis coming out soon as a complete item inc engine loom , ecu and later G/box I also have an injection fuel tank nocking about

I'd be lying to say that your going to see some major boost in power as the Rover official figures are the same for both varieties...however i feel that it did have performance gains on mine but that was together with full janspeed exhaust system including manifold and a larger throttle body.
