A mate of mine has decided to start on his car again,

Can you guess what it is?

Hi

I reckon it is a 6R4 or it's DAM variant kitcar.

Well if that's the case it's either a 2wd v6 or it could be a 4wd v8 Ie an 8r4 lol

Yeh.

Rover V8 and all wheel drive. But it looks like they are having fun with the front diff that came with it.

I also know they are after some standard parts such as door locked etc..screen surrounds

Any NOS still about? Of is it all scrap yards now? Or would buying a full car to break be best?

Hi

Is it using an original 6R4 floor plan by look of centre tunnel or has it been fabricate as a replica?

To me its just one of many variants of 6R4 deisgn but without trying to get standard ridiculous priced and scarce parts.

Seen a few V8 variants and some other engined replica ones like Honda etc

Was Ralph nbot doing a V8 One somewhere on here - what happened to that I wonder?

Most standard metro parts can be had from here bits like windscreen seals are best had from Ralph on here major mechanical bits I presume you would have to go to a specialist 6r4 place unless you went to a rover place to see what you can use from other models
