Gave a friends MG ZR 120 a Protection Detail today, was unexpected as it wasn't arranged prior but as i had nothing better to do we cracked on with it.

*Pre-washed with Autobrite Direct - Magifoam, all panel gaps agitated with a soft brush whilst dwelling.
*Wheels cleaned with ValetPro - Bilberry @ 5:1 and Tyres cleaned with APC @ 5:1.
*Re-foamed after rinsing and washed with Chemical Guys - Citrus Wash and Gloss with a B&Q Tile Sponge.
*Rinsed and dried with a plush drying towel.
*Decontaminated with Autobrite Direct - Tar Remover, CarPro - IronX, and clayed with EliteCarCare Fine clay with Dodo Juice - Born Slippy as lubrication.
*Re-foamed, rinsed and dried with a plush drying towel.
*Waxed with Dodo Juice - Orange Crush.
*Exhaust tip restored with Meguiars - NXT Metal Polish and #00 wire wool.
*Tyres dressed with Meguiars - Endurance.

We were very pushed for time so i wasn't able to clean the interior or the wheels to the extent that i would have liked but nevermind, theres always next time

Nice work Pandy. You will have to do this to my car one day.

Where can I buy this mesh from? Bar Halfords with their outragous prices and mesh that snaps when you bend it.

Anytime mate

Not sure, that's standard issue so could maybe get one off a ZR if you wanted to do just the grille?

Have to organise it sometime when I have all my bodywork done! Various dents etc.. I am going to get repaired.

Yeah I just want to do my 'lil 100 grille. Infact it was the above photo that inspired me! lol

Cheers guys

Surprised its got that much gloss as its in dire need of a machine polish, just didn't have the time today unfortunately.

The GTa is working again now, bleeding +ve lead from the battery to the started snapped off so it wouldn't start!

It is an R8 wedge yeah, they are having all kinds of trouble with it though as it went in for some work and the timing belt was put on really badly!
