Its possible as you can use the electric power steering colume from the MGF, how ever you loose alot of leg space and make it awkward for yourself to use daily.

If you want to mkae the steering light and easy to use just put some nice 13" steelies with 155/65/13 tyres on and you will find the steering is soo much lighter just like power steering

I used to be able to steer mine with one hand when it was standing still... Don't see why you'd need power-steering.

I was going to say that... I hate little cars with power steering... Big cars yeah... ( like the rangerover) but little cars..

And yes it is possible but would be far to much work...

Get 4-wheel laser alignment done, i bet it'll come out feeling like it has power steering.

the powered steering on the lancia has more weight, more feel, less turns lock to lock (with a tighter turning circle) and can be turned at parking speed with one finger!

one of the few exceptions though. most power steering removes all feel and makes the steering stupidly light. probably why i quite like the punto system. assisted but not too much, and the 'girly' button which makes it super light for carparks and parking and stuff.

The steering on my Coupe actually seems heavier than my Metro most of the time, except when parking...

If you went back to the metro, i bet it would feel dead heavy again. I have only driven a couple of 200s but the steering was ridiculously light IMO! Not as bad as a 600 though.

I would love to find a Tf rack for my 100.

My mothers Yaris feels 100 times lighter than the GTi when i'm moving them about on the drive, going straight from one to the other REALLY shows the difference!
