It depends on how deep the penitration is.

How long was it on there for and does it look like its cracked where the crap was? If the cracking is very light/thin
and only just see it you may be able to carefully cut it out with various cutting compounds, if the cracking looks thick
then most likely it wil have eaten into the lacquer and the only way to get rid is by a respray

Are you able to put a picture up?

If its been there that long then I don't think there will be much you can do but worth a try cutting it back then polish up.

I was thinking of getting a DA as i need to sort the paint out anyways but aint got a clue what one to go for :/

Get some 2000 grit paper flat it out and polish with g3. Sometimes you will get it out but after a few days it will appear again

Like Matt says mate it depends on how long its been left on there, sounds like it could have done irreversible damage, wet sanding might help reduce the mark somewhat.

A picture would really help

Top one is bird poo etching for sure, looks like its deep aswell so i doubt you will remove it. A good polish might improve it though
