My metro 1.1s failed the MOT on rear subframe corrosion, so I am looking to replace it, my question is do all the metro range have the same subframe, or will I need to look for the same model as mine. Any good tips on the removal and replacement much appreciated.

All K-series subframes are the same and anyone will fit.
It's fairly easy to remove, 4 bolts on the subframe mounts, and 2 inside the boot holding the can straps. You can either disconnect the brake pipes or I believe you maybe able to remove the rear hubs and leave them on? I've always removed them and re-bled the brakes afterwards. Handbrake cable will need removing from it, couple of little potchy clips.. You'll a hydro pump to pump up the cans if you get a subframe without them fitted and filled (or if your suspensions still linked) Not that hard though..
Where are you, as I've got a good subframe here that's solid, and could help/fit it for you
