Right where do i start, firstly car has never let me down apart from over heating then head gasket failure renewed by metro mechanic on here, within a week car over heated and next day took to garage and they said head gasket failed and changed various sensors drove the car for another year, still loads of power never lagged or any thing, booked in and had another metro mechanic change head gasket to a decent one. 2 months later noticed oil at head gasket also antifreeze at back of engine. Car still goes and lots of powere but losing antifreeze and the odd drip of oil so i guess head gasket yet again. Car still flies and nothing changed since i have had the car

Anyway a few weeks ago my engine really reved high at start up but slowed down when through the gears, Re set stepper and all seemed ok.

Then today Driving in traffic 3 miles (which i hate as car goes just under red before fan cuts in the car was almost about to stall and starting to Kangaroo, put in neutral it was fine, back in drive and slowing down iy did it again, Then on my way home (from test driving a car ) an hour later car was running fine but almost stalled at a roundabout.

The metal pipe that is running up inside passenger wheel arch which i gather is the fuel breather pipe is broken in 2 could it be that water was getting in the fuel as i was driving in heavy rain. is it safe to keep using? is there a quick fix. As i am getting a new car (a used low milage one)

What to do with my car sell as spares or repairs at what price or just take it to the scrap yard.

Don't scrap it, you wont get shit unless you strip it first then weigh in the cat, battery, rad on it's own. Been trying to weigh in a 2006 meriva the last couple of weeks and no one will take it because the price of scrap is so low.

Sell it to Tony or ebay the thing.

Where are you?
