that is a very nice and low mileage example you found there. what is wrong with the old one and how many miles do you do in a year?

The old one had 30,000 on the clock when I bought her 4 years ago, she now has 103,000 and is feeling tired.
The engine is still great but the gear linkage is held together with gaffa tape and the suspension has all but dropped.
Every bump in the road can be felt, so it is a case of renewing all the suspension rubbers or going with Poly Bushes, I would also like to upgrade to a better front subframe and completely abandon the original suspension for springs and shocks. Perhaps do the rear suspension mod from Ralph.
Any modified front subframe would be a welcome purchase if you know of any for sale.

Today I have been preparing her for POL on 18th April.
Today I painted the middle part of the bumpers with gloss black plastic paint and added 'B' and 'C' pillar carbon detailing.

The lower part of the bumpers are going to be colour coded, perhaps later in the week.

Finally today I added some detailing to the dash, covered the sun roof with Carbon Fibre Vinyl and refitted the newly painted 'Si' wheel trims, then added the petrol cap badge and 'METROPOWER' rear window sticker.

I have a 1.4 Si in the garden, Pulled them all off there.
I hope to restore the Si at some point in the future but at the moment it needs plenty of welding and I don't have a welder.
Guess it will have to wait another year.

Only other mods I would like to do to the R100 is a retro Mk3 front, but the R100 face is growing on me lol.

Had the original bump strips on the passenger side since I bought the car due to having a damaged rear door.
Bought a replacement rear door last week and fitted it on Saturday.
Here are some pics

Grubby due to sitting in a scrap yard for years

Cleaned up the door and glass
