Right, I've never really had a journal or ever posted about things I've done to my car. Just asked questions on how to do it. So I thought it was about time after nearly 3 years of being on here I started a proper photo journal of my car.

It started life as my Nan's 111SLi, completely standard, I suppose you could say it had one extra- a towel over the rear seat.

I haven't really typed a lot here about the mods, but if your interested in any, reply here or PM me.

Thats it so far. I'll try and keep this updated.

I do have them still but Im on the X spokes again atm, just have 3 punctures. I got 3 spare steel wheels with good tyres and just need transferred over to the alloys.

I think i prefer the 6 spokes, l think the cross wire look too old skool on 100's.
Why not put the 185's off your cross spokes on to them?

Very tidy, drivers rear door is a different shade of silver to the rest of it? I'm liking the MGF rear view mirror, might have to look into that one.

The bottom half of the rear driver side door is a different colour.

@ R100_vvc. They won't fit on the 6 spokes they are too wide.

The X spokes are 185, the 6 spokes are 165.

besides, Id rather use the tyres I actually got. They just need transferring from the steelies.

Since these photos, I've got front door cards in.

So I'm on the look out for GTA door cards [easier to get hold of and not a massive difference].

Also, I have GTi skirts that need spraying and fitting.

I have since got my 'Rover' numberplates, completed my rear doorcards and my GTi skirts are currently at the bodyshop.

I have fitted a Citroen Xsara splitter. [I copied Daz's green Ascot]

For those interested in my new 'Rover' plates.

haha YES. nah just remember reading further up but couldn't see the evidence. Agree colour coded skirts make it a whole lot better, and I prefer the GTi ones to GTa anyway

As requested from my small audience, are photos of my new GTi side skirts. Im very happy with the colour match actually, usually silver is a right fook to match, but I think the body shop guy did a top notch job... all for £50!

Just to add also, as you may or may not have noticed, I now also have some genuine head lamp protectors. Straight from Rimmer Bros.

I'm thinking for next few months, perhaps electric mirrors so I'm on the prowl for all the relevant parts- I don't want to be making any more looms. My brain still hurts from the last one. If anyone has a full set up, PM me!

Cheers dude! It's nice to see someone appreciating a 5dr car. Usually they get ousted from the outset really. :/
