Elite Veteran Posts: 666 Location: Bicester - Oxford | YAY! PASSED MOT TODAY! this car has never failed any MOT to date! this annoys my other half as her corsa failed its 1st ever MOT, lol, so like to rub that in. Also got brand new alternator on and the diagnostic plug works a treat, thanks to Adrian! there were quite a list of errors on the code reader but we reset it and the only error that came up was the coolent temp sensor, tryed a new one and it cleared the code but fans came back on. so gunna go back to my mates garage and try clearing errors again with the new sensor and hope that sorts it. Car is running like a dream tho, gave it a good run today after MOT, just forgot how much it puts a smile on my face as haven't driven it properly for ages!

Elite Veteran Posts: 666 Location: Bicester - Oxford | Hi guys, bit of an update as its been a while You may of seen it at pride of longbridge (stopped waiting to cool down after reconnecting my fan!) or at gaydon, I wired up the fan to run via switch now and it does the trick when stuck in traffic! Mainly wanted to get this done for some runs at santa pod which i did at the start of july, went well until my brakes started popping! pics and videos at the pod http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RX8uuKTbk3I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhjnLz-JH7U http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdYuKT4hTJ8 Been to the scrappy got two 'new' servos and a master (the 1st servo i tried getting the engine side bolt off but snapped and there was a low milage metro there but missing master cylinder so got that to without snapping the bolt that time!) This is how the brake situation is coming along so far the old, pretty damn rusty! poored this black s**t out the servo, not good! the new: ('new' master bolted up to the decent servo which i had to clean out as had been open to the elements via missing cylinder, also cleaned up O-ring nicely ) also made a new gasket template, getting gasket paper tommorow which i got on order I have also drill wire brushed rust of the bulk head plate and hammerited tonight, hopefully it will all get finished in the next few days. So more pictures of progress to come...

Cool, hope you enjoyed the read and thanks I thought about putting a spoiler but they weigh so much! plus I like the 'simple' look tale gate with it de-badged. Been thinking about splitter and try and keep an eye out when im at scrappys for a decent laguna one, I wanna get some gti skirts at some point too or colour code the standard ones also thinking colour code rubbing strips and handles. cheers, Edited by mr gotta hava metro 12/9/2013 3:13 AM
