Location: Meuspath		Part of my VVC loom is damaged. Does anyone have a wiring diagram I could use?

I think the damage is to part of the loom that has an unused connector. I think this damage is preventing the engine from firing.

I'll try and post a picture of the connector

The damage is next to the blue connector on the loom. It has three wires, black, white with orange tracer and green with pink tracer.

Location: Norfolk		I would assume the green/pink is 12v, white/ orange is the signal and black the ground.

Location: Tebworth		Sounds like the gearbox speed sensor. Should run fine without anything connected to it.

Is it a converted metro mpi loom?

I've looked at all the wiring diagrams I have and can't seem to find those colours.

Location: Norfolk		If that green/pink wire were brown/pink then it would be the gearbox speed transducer, because the other colours would Match

Location: Meuspath		The VVC engine and loom was from 200 Vi and fitted to a 1.1 body loom iirc.

Afaik this connector was unused and now its damaged the car doesn't run.

Does the white/orange have anything to do with the immobiliser?
