hello. For diagnostics purposes and needle profiling without visiting a rolling road and paying for that I am looking at buying something like a "Spartan 2" or and "ALM-board" which are both controllers that convert a wideband lambda signal to a voltage of of 1-5 which will be easy to log to a file using an arduino and a pc. the goal is to be able to log AFR at RPM to a file on the pc.
Do you have any recommendation or suggestions?

The AEM unit is around £150 and includes the gauge. They have become so cheap now that i wouldn't bother with a kit.

If you do put something together yourself, try to find something that uses the latest LSU4.9 sensor rather than the old 4.3. Unless you go for an NTK of course

Thanks for the info. I am going to use a bosch 4.9 sensor yes.
the primary thing i want to achieve is logging of the data to the pc so that i can use it for drawing a graph and selecting needle profile.

I built a JAW from 14point7 - worked very well. Currently running a techedge one as it came up at the right price and I could use it with a standard gauge in place of my clock on the TF.

I have been reading about the techedge one and its very nice with the extra inputs. it has a lot of nice features build in.
