Hi all.

i am stripping my R100 after its MOT failure, and i need to get the seats out - they are all held in by bolts that look like large torx bolts. if so does anyknow know the number of the socket i need so i can buy just that one, or is it a something else and if so what!

im sure plenty of you have had your seats out to change them!

cheers

Gary.

its a T40! wasnt a problem tho as i bought a set from homebase - they were allen key style and only £6.49 which was a bargain compared to halfords prices.

i had to put a ring spanner over the end of the allen key to get enough leverage with some of the bolts and the torx key didnt snap in half so im quite impressed.

They have thread lock on them from the factory. You wouldn't want the seat coming loose when you step on the brake .
