Yeah looks a lot easier! Done a tidy job of it aswell. You going to be up the unit Friday evening? As I would like to have a chat about relocating the battery mate.
Ok sweet as I was looking at getting a set or the maxxis MA-Z1 ones

Nearly finished now, just need too book an mot up and sort a few little bits out and give it a massive detailing session.

Not sure whether to put some cross spoke alloys on it though, what do you all think?

Is it finished now? Let me have a read back through the spec and I'll get you on facebook

Got to be easier than welding up my current one, fuck knows what I'll do with that

well, possibly the last update for little old susan!
she's now complete, washed and polished, full clean inside, waxoyled all the underside, lick of paint in the rear arches and the vvc 160 now running silent after R100_vvc swapped over the vvc mechanism.

loads of pictures and a video.

As most of you know by now, I bought this car earlier in the year.

First things first, time for:

Janspeed 160 manifold heatwrapped
2 1/4" exhaust system
UJ mod on the gear linkage
Lotus cam cover
Z&F Remap
New throttle cable (couldn't find any new so I made my own - better than OEM)

Then a track day at Brands Hatch where she performed perfectly

Now taken her off the road for winter and fitting a sump baffle

Also coming up over the winder break is:

4.2FD gearbox with Torsen type B
Lightweight Eliseparts Flywheel
Polybushes for all engine mounts and gear linkage, completing every single possible polybush available for this setup now.

Beauty I did have the poly-bush engine mounts but opted for the standard for less vibration

Couple of updates:

Sump-subframe mount polybushed

Flywheel

New 4.2FD gearbox with Type B Torsen

New wheel bearing required

This is what happens to drilled discs when you get them hot...

Corsa pads modified to fit:

All the same mate, from the 1.0 through the 1.6 gsi and diesel! This is a trial fit with some £7 ebay pads, will run them for a couple of hundred miles before cutting up an expensive set

Sweet, did you literally just cut the lugs off or do they need more mods?

Just cut the lugs off so far, they fit nicely in position laterally (the direction braking force is conducted) but with a little bit of movement up/down in the caliper, so will reserve judgement until I've driven them.
