this post is and isnt metro related....my tros new home ....over the past 4 months i have been sub letting a garage of a friend but leeds met housing got in touch the other day and i now have one of my own ryt behind my house witch i can see from the bedroom window , i took a lil trip ti ikea the other day to get some shelfing to stick my spares on. i have also started to paint it white and have moved 3/4 of my spares in to it.

went to scrapers on way bk from work on sat found a blue m reg desiel in there in really mint codition shame really. decided to be skint again this week and buy the desiel radiator

( i have a thred goin in the tech part, any help would be greatful)





forgot to add it only cost me £22 quid

You can still get the seals and rubber B post hinge things from Rover, not too expensive either IIRC.

I did a "How to Guide" when I fitted mine -

looking good buddy i got mine bbrand new date stamped a week before the tax ran out on the car i took it off from the scrappers i got black parcel shelf boot carpet and arch covers in carpet interior plastics diesel rad and speaker holders and a few other parts 15 quid.

Just one local to me mate im the only person ive seen taking parts off metros so its easy pickings lol.

no one up here has metro gtis so rover 100 etc r rare too but loads at the scrap yard.

i need front mounted fan for mine though

well i am back, i set off to pick the windows up at 6.45am (on a sunday ) and have been home about 20 mins, the windows ARE brand new and still in original boxes will post some pics when i get the seals on tuesday
