i know you can buy this stuff already made up, but does anyone actually know the solution, it smells like antifreeze, is it just antifreeze and water?
if so i may as well just make it myself..

otherwise anyone know where i can source it from with delivery etc?

one thing going out and buying some from a shop that may need to order it in etc etc , or more appealing some antifreeze from the garage and some free government juice, meaning i can never run out

Dont buy from Rover, you can get a good Comma ane from anyone who stocks their stuff. Alternativly it doesnt denature so you can filter old stuff through a coffee paper and its as good as new.

You can mix it up and I have read web sites about it before, there is one thing in it other than water and antifreeze I think but it is possible just google it, they mix it up for a number of reasons, availability and viscosity etc.

If I were going to make some up I'd use distilled water for sure just so I'd know it was faily contaminent free and wouldnt harm the rubber in the units.

water, antifreeze, anti corrosive, and antifoam.

i dont see why a normal engine cooling system type water / antifreeze (which contains the above things too) wouldnt work tbh. theyre designed not to corrode multi metal parts, not to degrade plastic / rubber parts, not to foam and obviously) not to freeze.
