New user Posts: 5 | Hi all I am looking at buying a rover metro anything from around early 90's upwards, been lookin and putting off getting one for a while. However I really want to get it sit right, when I do get one. I really like the look of wide wellers, or one set I really is the 7x13 minilites, however have had bad experiances with wheels not fitting right on car I have bought over the years. I understand that these would need to be redrilled.... anyone where i can this done so I no it has been done properly?? Any pics of other tros with and simular set up or anyone that has any other ideas of getting a nice look please let me no.... Cheers

Elite Veteran Posts: 624 Location: Sleepy Ol' Suffolk | Connor was the first to do this with the minilites and then myself, check out the 'show us your tro' thread for pictures of both. You will need to buy a classic mini rear hub which will go straight onto the back hubs of your metro. However, the fronts are a little different. You will need to get them re-drilled to 4x100 from any engineer willing to do it, there is plenty of meat on the hubs so don't let them tell you differently. don't forget when handing in the front hubs to get them drilled, that you give them the disks and also the rear brake covers also as these will need re-drilling to the new pcd. there are other bits and pieces you can do to get your tro sitting low and wide but this comes later. New user Posts: 5 | Thanks, yeah I had a little look through that album, I do really like the look of minilites however do think its a little to much work for due to not being that skilled thats all. Thanks for taking the time to run through all that with me. If I dont go down this route, is there any other wheels out there that would give this look?

Regular Posts: 241 Location: Germany | I found out that these are KBS wheels with 98 PCD that are made for fiats. How does this fit? Wobble nuts?

Regular Posts: 241 Location: Germany | Today I had just a quick look at the front flanges. I drew a template with a vector graphic program, printed it and cut it out using nail sissors: The difference between 4x95,25 and 4x100 is surprisingly small and it should be possible to redrill it without hassle, but the it should not be done in a 45° angle because of the taps for the discs. I found out about a different route to 4x100: This monster uses metro hubs that are drilled to fit a 72mm diameter honda wheel bearings and honda wheels flanges.
