Erik, our friend who came over from the Netherlands for Brooklands, Me, and my boy Simon, all happy with his £280 box of mostly gaskets and braided hoses!

Ah of course, rust!

The block, cleaning. Flywheel and clutch gear removed. All being powder coated or refurbished.

We bought some Bilt Hamber Deox C powder that you mix into water, to make a rust removal tank. Simon used the coil pack bracket as his test piece;

After: (Around 48 hours of being in the tank)

A wire brush attachment on a drill to get the worst of it off, and then Engine degreaser and carb cleaner mostly Carb cleaner eats its way through anything
