Member Posts: 80 Location: Andover, Hampshire | My mate's got an xr3i body kit from the 90's spec car, and the shape of the bumpers ect looks pretty close to the metro, in terms of how thing's line up... So with that said, and after a long talk and many beer's, we have decided we'd like to make it happen, have little experience in this kind of thing so im hoping to just kind of 'wing it' with a little help from people who know what they're doing.. if all fails, it will end up in the bin, and we'll be no poorer, so its worth it to fill them boring sundays! We will more then likely be having to cut the bumper in the middle to shorten it, im just wondering whats the best way to connected it back together after this?.. don't want it to be too brittle, afteralls they are " bumpers " so something with a little flex, i was thinking fiberglass / filler , would this be the best way of going about it?.. Pictures will be up later today with the body kit layed out around the car to give people an idea of what we will be trying to create.. it might look ugly as sin, so who know's, but we think it'll be pretty smart.

If you can, I might track one down

Expert Posts: 1228 | Pretty sure Ford plundered that idea from a Metro anyway - look at a picture of an A series Tickford Turbo, 2nd version. Cheeky gits
