Unfortunately not lads, in the long run it'll work out cheaper for me to pick up, say, a nice 1 litre 53 plate polo or something. My insurance is through the roof and the metro (believe it or not) doesn't help, due to my past driving history. Don't get me wrong, I adore the metro, but I think it's time put it in the garage and get something more modern to get me about daily. Then I can tinker with it and get it ready for its MOT in due course.

To be honest mate, I'm looking German or japanese for reliability and ease of finding replacement bits for when it goes wrong!

I'll keep this updated with my findings though

Lol, I would if I thought it were sustainable mate - I love the cabs. Need something more trustworthy that's not gonna screw me over in 12 months time though!

Such a shame, but the Rover is gone. Sad times! Got a couple of cosmetic bits & pieces for sale over in the For Sale section!

I have absolutely no idea mate! May see it pop up, may not. Shame if not! And har bloody har Dan.

Jesus christ though seriously, it took me like 20 minutes to figure out how to set the time on the digital dash on the Ibiza - you have to twist the mileage reset button, what the feck is that about!

Alex.

Ahaaa THREAD REVIVAL!

Bought me a new metro, L plate 1.1 SPI 4spd, 25k and one previous owner in white. Few rusty bits as expected but drives alright!
