Low ratio box??

Guys,

I'm after a low ratio box for my gti, I have an lsd that requires a 39 ratio, the box fitted at the mo is a 5c 37, what models i.e 25 / 45.. had the 5 speed 39 ratio box???

All the 200/400 bubble 1.4's had a 3.9 ratio and a lot of 1.6's but not all. The early 200/400's had the 3.9 too but these will not be U rated boxes and the Bubble boxes for the 1.4's do go cheap.

The lowest ratio R65 box you can get would be 4.2:1 out of a rover 200 bubble 1.1 8v...that is also a Code U
