That is epically clean compared to how it was... so much so im now doing google search for suppliers of UBIK 2000 super mega XL cleaner!

How did you come across this stuff? I have tried alot of things in the past but nothing that looks to do the job like that!

We use it in the chip shop to remove the oil from the fryers, the stuff is lethal. Removes tea stains from anything.

My only tip is to use proper engine degreaser with it. A stiff paint brush and a good hour or two working it in.

Looking good and good choice in tyre

Personally I can't decide if I like black wheels anymore as it does make them blend into the arches so you can't see the style/design of the wheel.

Update:

Currently acquiring bits and pieces for the conversion... (that would take place for a very long time, so dont get your hopes up lol!)

recently got: mgf tie bar and quick spiders subframe mount.

Might not be to everyones taste but, i got bored and but a bit of vinyl on my car!

Also got my smoked indicators on, AT LAST!

Finally now its starting to warm up i gave the block a lick of VHT aluminium coloured paint, and i have also sprayed the inlet manifold black, cause it looks neater. (and the throttle body silver )

Please let me know what you guys think!

Plans are:

- Get all engine,gearbox mounts.
- Take off the gearbox and change the clutch.
- change all belts, pump, thermostat, plugs, oil and filters.
- Paint gearbox

That sump mount pictured isn't from an MGF I'm affraid to say... The mgf mount is shorter and central to the 4 mounting holes. That looks like an 25/ZR mount.
