Not sure if any of you saw my post on FB but am hoping to have a batch or rear upgraded arb's produced. They will be £170 if I can get 10 or so interested. I know it's expensive but low volume stuff always is and original ones are hard to come by and not much cop on a fast road/track car. Any serious interest? I have 2 or 3 certain at the mo. Thanks

I'd have one.....that's dirt cheap.

Stock one are as useful as a bendy straw anyway.

Very interested in this, could you give more details on the uprating and the effects you hope it will bring?

Thanks for the interest at least it looks like I won't be left with 9 if I get 10 made! : ) These will be approx 70% stiffer than the GTI ARB so hopefully a noticeable improvement in body roll.

Sounds good! I assume this will be achieved through the use of a thicker roll bar? If so, will new bushes and clamps be provided to fit the new ARB?

Clamps will be the same, I just drilled my old bushes to 20mm but I'm pretty sure I can get them too...

Any more interest in these? Lead time is 8 weeks approx. as they need tooling made. As it stands I would lose money at £180 each! So I would need to make some more to get the price down. If there's not enough interest I will just make 1 for me lol. Thanks for the interest so far

I think you need to ask for deposits to ensure people are committed.

I can help with the Polybushes as I am a SuperPro dealer. What size are you going for and how has this uprated stiffness been calculated as material/design will make a difference too?
Cheers

My one arrives tomorrow. I've had a one off made for now to see how it goes. Wasn't a great deal of interest to warrant me investing £1.5K in roll bars that would most likely sit on the shelf for 6 months. I've talked to Ralph who may have now found a cheaper source

I think if you had them made and had photos of them people would buy, but as so many of these group buys never materialise I think people are reluctant to put their money in.
