I am looking for a way to sort my rust filla filled arches.

I have found a thread where the bloke has cut out the old arches and replaces them with bolt on ones.

I thought i would try this first before i blow the dust off the welder.

Is it best to cut out the old arches then bolt on over the top?

What other things would i need to do? i have already measure the old and new arches to make sure they fit.

Cutting out structural steel and leaving it out can't be a good idea on a road car!!
Dust the welder off and get some solid steel back in there...
if you want bolt-on arches over the top, fine, at least it would have some structural integrity there!

Don't know the K well... but isn't that an SPi airbox? Won't swap that for MPi set-up on the same engine AFAIK!?

AFAIK?

And also yes it is the single point injection.

I am not so much looking for the multi point injection as I am the clean look and the cone ait filter out of the way.

Cheers for the reply.

"As Far As I Know"!

Won't fit one of the later inlets...
but can get some form of induction kit for the one you have.
Certain I've seen it done...
just no idea on which / who's car.
