Recently picked up a 143 vvc rover 100. It had a metro power sticker on it so I just had to come along and check in. I've spotted the car on the forums and it would be nice to know a bit more about it.
My name is Chris and I'm from near Newcastle Upon Tyne. It's my first tro and I'm loving it. It's not running great at low revs at the mo. I'm going to search the forums and see if I can get a few ideas of where to start.
Looking forward to getting involved on the forums.

Cheers Chris.

Hi

Yes this is a well known car having changed hands twice in last two months. Wilkie27 (Arrons VVC) nearly bought it myself once but just did not have tha cash ready or luck on my side!

Was advertised as a 160 like but after reading the thread on here, it seems it was the buyer before the guy I bought it from that advertised it as such. I'm largely happy with it. Just want to get to the bottom of the stuttering issue. Going to whip the manifold off tomorrow and see if its the lambda sensor. It seems to be running rich.

Nice car. Not many Metros see a full proper respray anymore. Bumpers and grille would look good blue too though

I've been quoted 450 for a full plastidip. Might get that in a dodgy 'sleeper' colour.
