| Gauging interest in my metro gti, this is a fully hillclimb / track built and has always been a race car having never been Road registered. The car has had extensive work done to make it very competitive winning it's class last year.
Spec as follows
1.4 K Series Tuned Engine (145bhp), Piper Cams, Piper Verniers, Reworked Head, Jenvey Throttle bodies with fibre trumpets. Full Rebuild 3 hillclimb meetings ago by Tipton Garage who are very well known for motorsport in the southwest.
-Custom Side exit exhaust which was produced for optimum length.
-Brand New Emerald K6 ECU with data cable and CD included and set up on Tiptons rolling Road.
-MG ZR R65 Gearbox.
-Hydrogas Suspension separated into singles so each corner is stand alone.
-Gaz adjustable Shocks all round.
-Green Stuff pads on front, Standard Shoes in rear.
-Custom Carbon Dash with carbon Fibre Digital Display for Revs and Shift Light, all fuses, cut off switch, fan, windscreen wiper, fuel pump, ignition switch, starter button and Water Temp Gauge mounted on the angle to face driver. We have also mounted a ECU MAP switch aswell which allows you to switch between 2 Engine MAPS if desired.
-1 set of wheels with Yokohama Hillclimb Compound Slicks.
-1 set of wheels with Avon Wets. (Both sets of wheels are the same)
-The car is extensively lightened with weight saving been carried out from front to back.
-Fibre Glass bonnet and boot.
-Perspex Windows all round.
-Sparco EVO Fibre glass Seat.
-Sparco Suede Steering Wheel.
-Sealed lightweight battery mounted in battery box on passengers side.
-Custom fuel tank in spare wheel carrier and has a pickup pump to the swirl pot then High Pressure pump to the Throttle Bodies with inline pressure gauge.
-MSA log booked.
The car is finished in Black with Brushed Silver and Chrome Gold Decals, wheels are Minilights and Superlights finished in gold with polished Silver outer Rim.
The car is a race car so not in show room condition but it still looks stunning for a metro and more to the point shifts aswell.
