the course Saturday was done in pouring rain all sessions but the last. this went really great, any of us in my group could have won and we were doing simular times until it stopped raining as the others have a048 tyres and I still race on a539's my time improved 13.2 seconds (from 3.26.5 to 3.13.3 from wet to dry but one of the others improved 20 seconds so he won.
Sunday was the well known drive up a steep hill road (the only hill road in the season) and there were lots of spectators. unfortunately it was dry all day so I was down by 1.5 seconds on the others times, but I gave it all I got and believe I did what I could, of course there are always places where you can go a little more sideways or brake a little later, but I honestly don't see how I would be able to pick up 1.5 seconds on this 1 minut 8 second race.
I need a048 tyres!!!
my video camera failed a couple of times, but here are the good videos I got:
Saturday:
race 2
race 3
training 2
Sunday:
race 1
race 2
race 3
training 2
as always, press play, pause, and then let it buffer a bit depending on your internet connection
