I bought a set of red seat belts from a scrappy, thinking that they would be the same on any model of metro, but have since discovered that on the five door model the front seat belt bottom anchorage simply bolts on, where’s on my 3 door model the front bottom seatbelt is attached to a bar, which one side is bolted to car and don’t see how the other end is attached. If I take this bar off (some one tell me how, as I only see 1 bolt) and try to swap seatbelt sets will, the red seatbelts bottom anchorage simply bolt on? Where I removed the bolt or are they simply too different? Has anyone else done this?

yeah undo the bolt and the bar slides out when in the right angle, give it ago its not to bad.

I first got 5 door rear and fitted them on my 3dr rear and they wouldn't unlock so make sure these are ok.

pretty sure its to do with the angle the seatbelts are at as to whether they unlock or not, thats why they're fine in the car but not out. u can check them when they're out of the car but its pretty hard to find the right angle when they're not bolted in.
