A bit of an update, just more correcting of the paintwork.

Pretty close to finishing now, I've got the front n/s wing and bumper to do, along with the tops of the doors, B pillars and the lights. (writing it down so i don't forget haha).

I've only waxed them, as i'm waiting for some Glaze in the post - Prima Amigo as i've heard it's the in thing at the moment

First of all I was getting sick of the dodgy adapter from euro plug to UK so extended the wire and got a proper UK plug on the end. It kept cutting out before:

This is the boot and bumper all done. Dirty though from my driving everywhere!!

Weather was quite nice today. My pictures are shocking.

Roof done:

From the side,

Cat guarding the car from swirls lol

Can't wait to try my new Glaze, should make a difference !!

Also got some new car wash, pretty cheap and is meant to last ages, perfect for a student hah

Alright mate, got your text but much easier to reply in here as i can type like a beast.

I'm currently using a silverstorm rotary (proper cheap budget heavy as hell thing but it works fine for me )

For clay i'm using Bilt hamber auto clay - regular, not fine. Which is proper decent stuff.

For polish im using Meguirs #105 and #205. 105 is the heavy cutting polish and 205 is the refining polish. Absolutely awesome polish, I don't need anything else I feel.

For the pads, i'm using Chemical Guys hexlogic pads 5.5" , one white (medium cutting), one orange (heavy cutting but i haven't even used this one yet as my paint isn't that bad really) and one black finishing pad for refining.

I've also got a load of smaller spot pads, I payed like £8 for a full set from hong kong and they are amazing !! Expecially for smaller parts on the car. Took about a month to come though !!!

Bit of an update from today.

Went on a bit of a spending spree and bought a boost gauge for the car along with some red tint spray for the rear lights.

I have ABSOLUTELY no idea where to stick the boost gauge though Tried removing the air vents but the gauge then is at an angle facing the roof. I'm thinking next to the speeds on the left but i'm seriously not sure...

Any ideas?

I proper love the design though, it matches the zetec dials on the speedo. Was only £15 delivered too with the whole fitting kit!!

Picture of c**kpit to see where it can go?

Anyway, on with the tinting spray

Before.

Removed the lights - just via two bolts easy.

Cars still proper shiny from corecting, haven't even glazed yet - I really cant be bothered !! haha

And on with the spraying. This fly thought he'd be best landing on the lights mid spraying!! GRR was annoyed but i plucked him off and the paint seemed to fill itself into where he had died which was epic so you can't even tell he was theer?!!

And pics of them sprayed. Thought I had done a crap job at this stage...

But as they dried the gloss started to set

They are just drying now

And DD1 sent me a samco keyring - I love it

Any ideas on the boost gauge location? A pillar??

Got them on, but not polished yet. Going to wait until I do that.

Whilst fitting.

Needs de-wipering now.

And just a random one from the front.

Fanks dude! And I do love them, however not too keen on the cost of them

Got that tinting spray for £5 and it was £5 off er eBay at the time so in effect it cost me nothing but time to do

I fell out of love with it for a bit but now it's just passed completely i'm starting to like the babe again.

Nah mate, it was a 55 plate Zetec Climate 1.6 Petrol. When I got it in Feb '10 it had 18k on the clock. When it 'passed on' *sob* it had 42k, that was April '11...

But yeah, basically, I skimped out when I bought the tyres for the alloys in Jan '11, bought budgets, went round a 90 degree bend slightly too quickly, front pas wheel hit the curb, slammed the back pas wheel into the curb, span off across the road, and ended up headfirst back into the barrier on the same side I hit, ripping the back pas wheel off in the meantime.

Lucky to get a payout really, what with not declaring ANY mods... Lowering, alloys, spoiler, induction kit, 'zorst... Lol.

RIP...
