I have a 1.1 ascot and I have a rover 214i 1.4 16 valve engine and engine loom what else do I need for the eletric side of it ecu what about the imobliser? ?????

Location: Up in the lakes		Hi. Is it an old 214 (wedge shape) or a newer bubble 214? If it's a bubble Itl all be plug and play. Use the ecu 5as alarm and fob from the 214 and Itl all work.

It is the newer one could I use the 1.1 gearbox on the 1.4 or is it to weak

Location: Up in the lakes		All k series cars 1.1 up to 1.6 use an r65 except late 25s / zrs which use an ib5 box. Yes will be strong enough just different final drives.

Rover 414I not a 214 got it wrong that is good as the rover 414 gearbox is quite different by the look of it.

My 100 has 4 injeters on the engine does that mean its mpi????
