just out of curiosity did you buy this car after the 31st August? If you did the tax is no longer valid as the new rules have kicked in and the tax doesn't follow the vehicle, it results back to the previous owner automatically.

Wouldn't want you to get done by the local plod!

Location: Manchester		Thanks already no. its on next doors drive at the moment as I also have a zafira turbo that has just had coilovers fitted so be end of month before its taxed and legal on the road.

You have got that wrong alastair, the cut off date was from 1st October for the new road tax system
