Expert Posts: 4458 Location: Jelling, Denmark | look at what I just bought. a 1985 mg metro not in the best of states. its worse than it looks. I have had a small peek bellow the carpets and it doesn't look to good under there. it has dents and/or rust in every panel except the right front wing, the ringt back wing and the roof anyway, haven't decided what to do with it yet. it actually holds its MOT 12 months yet believe it or not what do you think spares or repair? The interior is complete and pretty good except for the front seats which is pretty worn. I haven't seen the subframes yet as I haven't beenn underneath it yet, bet as long as the mounts are ok it doesn't matter that much as I have spare subframes. I'm just worried that the bottom under the seats are very bad.

In a couple of months when I get my own place I will take it apart, remove the seats, carpets, front, bumpers and everything to see how bad the bottom is.

I think it was repainted blue at some point, was originally white. whould be a shame to get rid of course, but lets see in a few months when I get it taken apart how bad it is.

I will know more next month when I get it inside and take it apart to view the floor and front valance.
