didnt realise that moving my pics on photobucket would mess up my thread. I have decided to start a new one as I don't know how to tidy up my journal.

here are some pics of what the car used to look like, what I have experimented with and what the car looks like now

As I attempted to fit the rad the convensional way, it became apparent that the fuel pump was getting in the way so I turned the radiator around and rerouted the pipe work

the pipe that I put to the bottom hose was not behaving its self so I made a ridgid pipe bracketed to the angle iron crossmember rather than going down the tie rap route

heres a pic of a manifold that I knocked up to see if the turbo could fit in this position, the answer is yes but the plenum design and inlet track legnth would be reduced and I am not a fan of mig welding cast iron it was asking for trouble. I will be making an equal legnth exhaust manifold 4 into 1 and into the turbo over the gearbox side with a 3" turbo back siexhaust that will make its way between the bulk head (when modified) and the subframe

this is the inadequate plenum design

celica charge cooler system, I have decided to keep things simple with a font mount intercooler.

started poking at the cills and jacking points and found some rot, I decided I am going to build a roll cage so the plates I welded in are 3mm and the feet for the cage are 100mm square 6mm plates. to keep a uniform look I am copying the welding each side so that the job looks neat
