| Well, after this happened:
I had no choice but to get something cheap to run about in for a bit, so picked up a mk3 metro, 1.1 carb for £250 with short mot and tax...
It's fairly tidy, if a little tatty, but the clean up process has already begun with dewipering and debadging the back, along with some rover 100 lights and the cherry bomb off my polo:
Have a bucket seat sat at home waiting to go in, need to get around to doing some more fabricating but will be in soon... plans for now are some cheap wheels, anything's better than the steels really, lower (on the floor) and louder..
Oh, and my name's Ben, from the isle of wight and know 'GoldRush' fairly well
Thanks for looking.. comments appreciated and any advice

| Well this is how it ended up before I sold it due to 9% emissions so no MOT
The last photo is me and 'goldrush' when we took out metros to trax, couldn't believe my one made it there and back! 23mpg though
But yeah, it was completely impractical, way too low, but I miss it now! |

Location: Gloucester | theres a mixture screw on the side of the carb so its easy to adjust.
